The desire to enhance and preserve our heritage, which moved us to create our wine and olive oil brands, also moved us to restore an old house on our property, dating back to 1812, in order to create a touristic development.

The origin of the name Villa Auri, Golden Farm, in Latin, is due to the fact that our farm is also known in the area as Quinta do Douro, which means Golden Farm in Portuguese. ​

Villa Auri has 6 accommodation units: a Deluxe Twin/Double room, a T1 Deluxe Apartment, this one connecting with the previous one; a Deluxe Duplex Apartment, two Superior Twin/Double rooms, one overlooking the vineyard and the other overlooking the river, and finally, a Suite. ​ It also has a swimming pool and two pleasant outdoor seating areas overlooking the river.

​ All our guests are offered a breakfast in our dining room, as well as a tasting of our wines and oils.
